I checked your game. The reason you can't 'take' his king is because it is not your move!
why won't my play take?

On my opponent's 1st move he moved a pawn to d5.
I moved my bishop to b5, right in line to take his king. When I try to make the move the submit button won't link. What am I missing.
I'm new to this.
