I'm father of three daughters with lot of friend, someone playful someone serious, maybe some of them are immature, but who is not?
Hou is intelligent person, sure more than us, and I'm sure she has no problem if a girl is different from her, in meantime it does not even make any sense that someone else can say what she think ... just ask her and we all certainly have a surprise,

GM Hou doesn't care what people think of her and if she did she certainly doesn't whine about it...
Also I don t have a problem w/ people being dif I have a problem w/ people being weird...And starting 7 threads in a week which are frivolous is weird.

I’ve played chess a long time. Lots of women, and girls: children, adolescent, geriatric—all ages, really—play.
Some of the guys I dated didn’t play, but it was never my requirement that they did. There are plenty of other reasons I moved along from them.
My husband and I enjoy our chess games daily. Now that’s a perk.
