why you should not use the wayward queen attack, NEVER USE IT!!!!

The wayward queen attack is very bad because if you play it, the opponent will get the chance to develop its knight and bishop and threaten to castle at any moment, and if you play any bad move after that, there is a high chance that your queen is about to get out of the board.

What is happening to me now at elo in the 300s is that so many opponents play the wayward queen. Lots of them seem to not really know what to do with that, blunders their queen after a couple of moves, and then resigns, which is so annoying. We just did this song and dance, you are down one piece and giving up already? This is not to say that I dont still lose to it, but the repetitiveness of these games are getting boring.

Just get to a higher elo. Don’t blunder

If your opponent knows to play against it than you lose a tempo as they develop their pieces but it can be intimidating for the lower players

I just finished a game where somebody whipped out the cheesiest of cheesy cheese.

It did not go particularly well for them.

nice

I like to see that sort of thing punished. It's an attempt to just kill the game right from the onset: memorize a few lines and hope your opponent isn't paying attention. No skill required.

Thanks.

I "missed" a # in1, but it's nice to give the opponent's King a bit of exercise.
