increasing your study time on tactics and solving puzzles daily ( i would say about 200 puzzles a day) improve your chess game? Or at least your tactical vision

Long-solve puzzles increase visualization skills for sure. Short tactical-motif puzzles increase your tactical vocabulary and ability to access those motifs.

I'd rather go for software. For me, it's easy as pie to click click click through them.

Convekta has, or had, a good selection of such stuff.

CT-Art comes to mind. Mostly short stuff as I recall.

Chess tactics for Intermediates (if I recall the title correctly) has plenty of longer ones.

Try the Convekta software under the new interface, Peshk@.
