I didn't know that about the rook. Good thing now that a lot of sets come with 2 queens.

Definitely. And of course, when you're playing among friends, I'm sure they won't hit you with the big rule book. Really only matters for big shots playing for money, I'm guessing.
If there's a rook available turn it upside down to represent a queen. If not ask for the td to get a piece.
That's wrong. A titled player lost their match by trying that... I think it was Hikaru? I'm not sure. I'll look it up and post a link.
