I have aimlessly and restlessly played chess for these few months going on a countless amount of tilts as i moved forward and went back down constantly- feeling distressed and anxious to even play games at times- I have finally reached the rating that i have strived for- 1500 which was always a separate milestone for me- and prior reaching- I gave my self a promise to take a break from chess one perhaps two months only to refuel, energise and fulfil something different for a while, because i truly need this rest or time off this complex and concrete game or i may find my self in a mental institution- so I kindly and sincerely ask the formidable question- Will taking a month or two off of chess decrease my chess knowledge/ make me worst and if so, will i be able to get it back after a while of playing?
