I've lost plenty of games on time, many times with winning positions. I don't begrudge my opponents. Time is part of game. Just like saying I got checkmated but I had better development. I like to look at games I lost immediately afterward to see where I could have done better. Even if I won I can see how to improve. The only time I give rematches is when I don't have to think much and the game is so bad little value to go over. I never ask for a rematch because plenty of opponents on internet and I have nothing to prove. Also I'm an older player and have to take a bathroom break.

It's ok.

Risk-Taker, what is the rudeness you speak of?

Ask it to Mr. Ziryab .

I speak it from my experience and I have cross-checked it from the others. There are the various opinions in the group in which I participated, but most of them also gave the same opinion with mine.

Observe the following game carefully. The opponent doesn't want to give up, even though he has no chance of winning. Then what he expected, but hoping to win on time or he gets stalemate. He's an who will most likely be turned down a rematch and running away. When the game resumed, then :
68.Kc4 Kb1
69.Qd2 Ka1
70.Kc3 Kb1
71.Qb2# (mate).

You're not a lightning/bullet player so you cant give a relevant comment.

Maybe just a coincidence. I don't ever play rematches so people think I win and run, whereas usually I only have time/focus for one game. Whether win or lose.

You may not be able to imagine how frustrating it is to lose to players who lack elementary checkmate skills. I would refeuse a rematch offer from either player in this game. Black should have resigned after 53.Ke3 or 54.Kf2 (you made neither move, due to not understanding these positions). I'm always happy to play to mate, but not willing to play again with opponents who find that necessary. White's abyssmal skill is reason enough to refuse a rematch.

You should have checkmated your opponent in at least six fewer moves.

Does not make sense to question why other people do something that you want or don't want them to do.  If you want a rematch why not ask for one in chat before the game is over and try to agree to something?

On that last game you posted Risktaker, that was the second game you played with Ryanmurphy5(you lost the first). You post reads like you said he "ran" when in fact, it was the second match. Are you saying that he should have played a third match against you? Also, who offered/requested the rematch after the first game?

I sometimes play rematches.  I don't HAVE to.  I took one game, and won, I owe nothing after.

exactly.

Personally, if I win I wait  a few seconds to see if a lower rated player who lost wants a rematch. If I lose I never ask for a rematch. I never get requests for rematches from higher rated players that I beat... I guess it's a sort of peer system.
