This has happened to me more than a few times lately where I am playing a match with somebody and I win (usually by check mate) and still get a significant loss in points (+-25)!! Could someone please tell me what's going on?!

What games/ratings show this? Both your daily chess and blitz chess ratings have been rising.
The only rating of yours I see that went down significantly is rapid chess, which is down 290 points over the last 365 days. Your last rapid game was almost a year ago.
