Warum werden meine Stücke auf den Kopf
Wo sind die deutschen???
@Connor: yes, german words. but this sentence doesn´t make any sense....
Google translated... why are my pieces upside down.
When i translated the german back its different.
Like.... why are my pieces on their head????
Wir wollen ja gar keine Deutschen! Und Merkel muss mal einmal Griechenland besuchen...Berlin wieder das Zentrum von Europa, niemals!
in Germany we have many words for one and the same thing...
You also have one word for many things... together.
Ich lerne deustch aber Ich nicht spreche deustch sehr gut :(
Get used to it, mate.
Ich wohne jetzt in Deutschland (na ja, schon seit über drei Jahren), aber ich habe meine alte finnische Fahne noch gehalten.
@chessweb101: well, if I listen to the german kids and see their bad grammar, then (in that case?) I would say your german is much better
Danke Thorwolf
Do Germans really hate it when people confuse Deustch with Dutch, because I'm not really German and just learning it and it annoys me a little like when I say Ich spreche Deustch and they tell me they don't speak Dutch

I am not german but have learned german as a child.
I guess the reason people hear dutch is because you need to practice your pronounciation of eu it is pronounced oy. so you have to say Doytsch

It was the other way around. After WW2, nobody in the Netherlands wanted to be associated with Germany. Plus we lost the worldcupfinal in '74. Nowadays nobody cares. Funny fact: prior to WW2 the English were the archenemy of the Netherlands and the Germans were our biggest allies. For example, all english proverbs with the word 'dutch' have a negative meaning.
@Joppert: stimmt! aber: "nowadays nobody cares" ist nicht ganz richtig. Die älteren Holländer tun zum Teil noch so, als wäre der Weltkrieg noch am laufen. Und was Fußball betrifft: Unglaublicherweise scheint das ja für manche noch schlimmer zu sein als der Krieg!
That's true. However, a lot of elder people nowadays say that the german civilians were also victims of war. Half of the german population got bombed by airraids or other means. Plus, we just started to learn about our acts of atrocities during the war of independence in Indonesia.
