Woodpecker tactics learning vs….

I am currently doing the “woodpecker” method for learning tactics (it’s a book), but another method I tried a little is from IM David Pruess, who said “Solve tactics until you find THREE that you cannot solve in 30 seconds. Solve those several times until you have committed them to memory. Stop. Then tomorrow, start with those three to make sure you can solve them in 30 seconds or less “

Both methods make sense to me. Pruess method more time efficient.

Does anyone have experience in either method or perhaps another method that can compare them? I have time so I don’t care as much about time per day, more concerned about progress on daily basis.

BTW I think either method works. Lots of methods work.

Is three new problems a day all you can reasonably learn? Pruess claimed scientific backing.

(granted, I would get more responses if I said “Could Billie Eilish be a grandmaster in one year” or something as inane)
