I'm not sure what happened in the round 4 game and hopefully MSC157 can enlighten me as it looked like I had a slightly better endgame prospect but nothing to incredible. I figured with rooks on the board it'd probably end up a draw. But while I went to get my king active MSC157 seemed to be shuffling his rook about. The only thing I can come up with was at the end position MSC157 was looking at 36. Rxf5+ 37. Kxf5 Bh3+ thinking that he'd win a piece with 38. Ke5 Bxd7 (which doesn't work because I have 38. g3) and resigned when he saw it didn't work. Other than that I can't see why he allowed me to walk my king up into the game like that. It was a tragic end to an otherwise good game. Round 5- ok so you didn't have a plan, you can start making one though and push on. You had all the winning chances in that game and could probably draw at any time so why not play on there?
Round 2 (queen against two minors now) I'm beating myself up big time for that blunder earlier that gave you another minor. I'm still trying to work out a fortress or something but my prospects are definitely much dimmer now. I was thinking I might have a slight edge in that game earlier until I made that really stupid mistake that put the game squarely in your hands.
Round 7 game is the most interesting to me right now. I'm worse I'm sure but I'm trying to complicate the position and my e pawns I think give MSC157 some headache's right now. I think Round 1 will probably be a draw which will end MSC157's chances of tying the match up so with that in mind I'd like to propose a rematch when these games are finished, same rules but 4 games, 2 day limit (you didn't seem to use the time much and I'll just need to work faster) if you're willing MSC157.
I've chosen randomly so...
