No.

Rsava

No.

Probably going to pull the trigger soon but not sure if the extra $50 over Platinum is worth it. If the price was $198 I definitely would not.

Your GM Rensch post has been deleted, but I keep getting notified of new answers.

fianchetto123

where do you get these notifications from? I never get any, what are they like?

Conflagration_Planet

Kind of like an acid trip, but fortunately, they've stopped.

Pre_VizsIa

Nope.

flatters1

Yes.  I get that much from it.

You've never done acid.

True.

bobbyDK

maybe if they added even more benefits for being a diamond member.

Conflagration_Planet

It would have to be one HELL of a lot more.

I would.  This site is kewl.

You're not even paying for a membership now!

Conflagration_Planet

This I have, was given to me by a member who deleted his account, so the rest of his premium wouldn't go to waste. They wouldn't tell me who it was.

wilford-n

I wouldn't buy one if it was half what it is now.

NO, I have in fact recently downgraded to Gold. Reasons? Tactics Trainer - you are penalised for taking to long (it is more suited to Blitz). We are always told to take our time, not rush and to find the best possible move. That is out of the question, you will lose points more often than not.Videos -mainly  a waste of time to to the authors poor english. The Site seems to assume that a good titled player will make a good teacher. That is very, very wrong (that is my job and I know that it a fact!) Same problem with Chess Mentor - some lessons good, many are not. If you look you can find what you want free on the Internet. I will not even mention the times something o the site malfunctions. It is not, in my opinion, worth its present cost noy alone more and my will leave as soon as my credit runs out.

any price increase would be the end of the line for me. I have platinum and  its costing me at the upper end of what id be willing to pay for chess membership. if anything they should be adding more features to the gold and platinum levels too keep customers renewing, we are in a recession after all, I know alot of poeple who cant even find a job right now much less throw money at a board game.

Considering what most coaches cost per lesson, it's probably not a bad price.

I wouldn't pay $198/year for a diamond membership as the features stand. Maybe if they threw in a few group lessons by a titled player along with it, but even then I would probably not because the price is so high for one thing in my life.

I do plan to get a membership of some kind very soon.

DrFrank124c

If they increase the price they can decrease their membership by one!
