wrong accusation

As mentioned in previous fora, I always try to tolerate cheaters and offensive comments, but sometimes, especially when is too offensive, I tend to report such a behaviour. Thankfully chess.com is now helping with that.

Now, I have been called cheater in recent games. I'm wondering if there is any mechanism to control this. I know that for some, this may be a taken as a compliment, but when the opponent stops moving pieces, and decides to fill the time by insulting and saying stupid things, things get a bit annoying. So if anyone knows how to stop this deplorable attitude, please let me know.

Here is an example of my last game, where I was called... well, use your imagination.

(By the way, I asked my opponent to prove that I was cheating... I'm still waiting...)

.. or what do people do in these situations?

Well, best you report them or block them.

No need to feed the fire with more drama.

Yes, either report them or block and ignore them. Why waste your time worrying about it? Who cares what some random internet idiot thinks?

If you're cheating you suck at it, seeing as you allowed him to take the lead, and he had what I'd consider to be an easy draw until he allowed the rook trade.

You played like a 1600-1700 player, he played worse, nothing to see here.

I normally take it as a compliment if I'm accused of cheating, since it probably means I played well. But here, I wouldn't be fistpumping my performance and would consider myself fortunate to win, so it's hard to feel complimented. I'd just assume he has more problems than I do (which is saying something) and not lose any sleep over the matter.

Here we go again.

I have been accused of using an engine..  well, kind of, my opponent never got the guts to say it while (obviously) stalling the game.

I found the game quite boring to be honest so I refused the rematch. Do I really need to repeat what this bloke commented about it? It's hard just to "block & move on".  Chess.com should improve its fair play correctional actions.

Please don't reproduce accusations in the public forums - as @DeliciousFreeSample observed, this only escalates the conflict. Report them and the Support team will deal with it appropriately.

Thanks,
