I tried playing the computer feature on this site on "casual" setting and no matter what I tried the thing ripped through me like Terminator stomping every move I made. E4? It brings out a Knight and grabs it immediately and doesn't allow me to develop my pieces and knows everything about my pathetic plans.
Even when I'm White and manage to stay in the game about ten moves or so, I am totally on the defense as it bounces around like a pinball taking out my pieces.
I am a novice.I am slowly building confidence as I study and play.It took me quite a bit of courage to finally play someone online expecting to happen to me what the computer just did but I held my own in the few games I have played against humans which was very encouraging. The computer has shattered my confidence. It's like I played against God!!
