Yeah, that would suck. Mine would definitely be my presently on the street, dealing always with multiple distractions. =/
...but =) that is very soon to be rectified and me chillin in my own crib, much grateful when so too! ![]()

My biggest hurdle is that time limit stresses me, so I overlook tactics and blunder from time to time, it's gotten better, but it will take me a long time to get used too. I exclusively play 30 minute games and I have more time then I need, but I still feel the nagging pressure.

I can definitely relate to that. Time pressure is an odd thing.
How much time should a single move take, on average? I mean, if you have 30mins, could we divide that by the typical number of moves per game at beginner level to get a rough estimate of what sort of limit you have per move? Maybe that might help. Not sure.
Have either you seen or played the 4 player available here?
I don't understand the rationale behind this ..?
....so much fun, I find it way better than standard, and it as well absolutely increases your standard skills! If yet to play, first search in the spectating option some and watch how people begin, what works, even if you wish you can search my archived wins and see that getting the Queen out early is extremely beneficial, especially considering she nearly powers the board with ability! Lol as the other three are attempting a promo you with her out can wipe up one side pretty darn well! 😂
For me it's time control. Usually i am winning completely and then realize i only have 1 minute left and either win or lose (on time or because i blunder after i start making premoves when i only have 10 seconds left). So i lose about 70% of my games on time and 20% because of last second blunders

Dude, it's so much fun! If you love chess then you're sure to enjoy this, well at least when you begin to recognize what works.. I spend most my time on cc in that arena 😂
....but, what you need to be aware is the regulars seek out newbies on the grounds that their King's worth +20 to which most points is the winner, regardless who's last mated! Most points wins.
for me its to find a way to play against people who play like ídiots and play like npcs and likely are
in the end im just messing with them for fun and i dont take them seriously and lose
ive asked them if they can speak or if their human and you guessed it (no response!!!)
@ninjaswat are you trying to sandbag? It states on your status that it's time to lose all your rapid rating...?

What's your current biggest barrier to chess improvement?
For me, it's lack of time when I'm not tired.
As an adult with job, family etc, it's very difficult to find an hour when it's not early/late, I'm not tired, and there's no distractions.
So most of my chess activities, whether playing or puzzles or game reviews or reading or whatever, occur in a rushed, tired, or distracted state.
What's your biggest barrier at the moment?
