Zoom and chess

Are there people who open a zoom session during their game as to see each other?
My question is directed to people who are playing their former physical opponents online now due to the changed circumstances.

I was wondering the same thing. I think it would be cool.

There are some clubs that meet that way based on posts I have seen.

Zoom isn't end-to-end encrypted, but I guess as long as you're just playing chess, it doesn't matter.

Jitsi would be a better choice, but everyone's heard of Zoom, so Zoom has the big Mo (momentum).

If hackers break into my session I don't care, unless they also start giving my opponent advice.

I figured I'd mention the encryption aspect of Zoom, just in case anyone had the mistaken idea that it was secure. Zoom is claiming end-to-end encryption, but they're lying. I have no respect for Zoom. If you want to use Zoom, that's OK; Just know what you're getting.

I do zoom and chess and it doesn't really matter unless you are doing chess cause come on, chess is the main thing at least and you are still doing chess right i mean you might be learning chess but come on you are still doing chess it's all normal there is not anything wrong right?
