It may be bugged, as a lot of achievements are. As for the -20 and +5 thing, you can apparently go to settings on the puzzles page and set the difficulty to super hard to make it better

thank you, seems to be fixed now. I got it to over 2000 again and let it sit there for a while before trying again to see it it just takes a bit to register. The award is showing up finally. I’ll look into the the higher difficulties too, cheers!
I got the 2000 puzzle award and then it went away and I kept going down and then back over 2000 and it’s not showing up. Super frustrating because I was proud of it. Also what’s up with most things being +5 but then I get something wrong and it’s like -20. I really want to like puzzles but I’m getting demoralized with the points. But losing the award made me sad lol.
