You need the same position to occur 3 times- i.e. ALL pieces on identical squares.
Unless you use molotov cocktails. If they land in the right place they only have to be there once.
ohhhh i get it now, basically the board has to be identical x3, not just the same piece in the same spot...looks like a 50 move game from here
in an online game i seem to be having issues on mobile initiating 3-fold rep. it is a queen king, king corner endgame. i've tried circumventing the force draw issue by offering one after tying to send one before move, and after...the guy's being a dick, frankly, and isn't observing my issue (nothing forcing him, i know), even though i made my reason clear. any advice, using android.
