'30 Daily Invites' not being received by anyone

The last couple of days of "30 invites" seemed to have failed. And today instead of locking after 30 invites the program keeps offering "1 more invite left to send". Whether I inset one more or another block of 30 the program eats them & then says "one more invite left".
I know nothing has actually been sent as i inserted a few dummies into the batch & the recipients advise they haven't received an invite. And that was 7 hours ago.
