50 moves rule

I am currently playing an endgame (online) where I have King and  Rook and my opponent has King,Rook and Knight.

On move 59 the last piece was taken, so according to the rules I can claim a draw on move 110, but this is not automatically given I think, and I have a feeling my opponent may not accept a draw offer from my side (he doesn't talk, and refused 3 draw offers so far). We are now on move 105 and my king is still very comfortable.

I don't know where can I claim my draw, and I don't want to resign, or play on till the end of times.......

Anybody has a suggestion?

Chris

Click the draw button. A valid claim does not require your opponent's input.

Thanx for all your comments. The "claim draw" button DOES exist Borgqueen, and moreover , it works!! (big compliment to the chess.com programmers) The game is a draw now , on move 110.

The bad news is that I will have to play another game against him, since it is a team match....:-)

Second game started quite well for me. After 15 moves the situation was already hopeless for him. Only now he falls back on the strategy of moving in the last minute....with maybe some ten moves before the inevitable mate, this game may well last another month...:-)

This is where Conditional Moves come into their own.

You are right artfizz. I prefer not to play conditional moves too often, it always looks a bit arrogant to me, but in this game I would surely like to put up a string of ten conditionals, with the last one being mate :-)

Problem is there are several ways that lead to Rome, and I am a simple (non-paying) member................
