Very hard to get a game here nowadays. Lichess seems to be working well though at least. Not to mention they have the free opening explorer that works better than the payed one here.

I can't figure out any reason why all the people supposedly having fun over there feel compelled to come back here.

Irrespective of any fine print in the agreement accepted by paying members, this database error fiasco is more than just a PR disaster for Chess.com.
Please extend all paying members' memberships to compensate for Chess.com's now chronically inadequate service level, or risk loosing revenue and earning a permanent blemish on Chess.com's reputation. The damage to Chess.com's service record is objectively permanent. Chess.com should be concerned about its class action exposure risk and therefore proactively provide adequate compensation as suggested above. Chess.com may be faulted for accepting new members during its period of service interruptions due to its own admitted reasons.

@Martin_Stahl, None of my comments are directed against you personally (why would that be?) I guess those days are not the easiest for you. But asked you one question, why are you the one on the front line? Why the main staff didn't come to help?
When I have a little spare time, I like to answer topics. This just happens to be one of the hot button topics right now and if I can offer some assistance, I like to try.
Staff are busy working on other things and spending that time in the forums isn't really a good uses of resources. Yes, it would be nice to have some staff available for posting in forum topics like this but I know they have a lot of other things, pretty much on all fronts.
