Abandoned

Hi All,

Sorry for the n00b question: what does it mean when a game is abandoned?

Especially when it had been my opponent's turn for only two seconds, so they'd hardly been inactive for particularly long.

I think its when your opponent cancels the game which can be done if only one move has been made

Tones, that actually comes up with the term, "aborted", not abandoned. Abandoned is when someone's connection is lost.

yes. if someone cancel the match against you, it comes as aborted. it appears only 2 moves from the game started at bottom of the chat window.

Woah - take a step back. When the connection is lost it says that you're opponent has disconnected. And yes, I agree with you all about what aborted means. So that doesn't answer what abandoned means...

I used to think that it means that they hadn't moved in too long, but it happened recently after just two seconds.
