based on the screenshot it appears you were in a tourney, aborts in tourneys are resegnation.
A brainless moron downvoted my comment, but seriously. The mods are stupid if they don't see a problem with this. Lichess discourages you from aborting too many games by timing you out. That feels a lot more fair than taking away ELO just because you don't wanna play against a bot that created its account last year.
CHESS.COM needs to change their "ABORT or RESIGN" policy because you should be able to ABORT on anyone who's "name" shows they've only been "playing" for HOURS-WEEKS-DAYS, we ALL know these are CAUGHT CHEATERS and we shouldn't have to RESIGN (lose points) when forced to play a known CHEATER. Fix this please!
Aborts should be rare, regardless of the reasons.
