aborts

Challenged someone, i got whte, moved right away, waited 45 seconds and no auto abort. So I aborted. I thought the rule was auto abort would kick in after 15-20 seconds if opp didnt make their first move!

that happened to me too a few days ago, i waited and the server eventually aborted the game after about 1 and a half minutes.

Each time I start a game, after the white move, the game aborts automatically. Are we not supposed to be able to think and plan? Why the short time befor aborting.When i started playing, IT NEVER HAPPENED.

Have I done something to irk someone?

How much thinking do you need to do on the first move Charles?  You would even have time to go the "Game Explorer" and look up a move to a new opening.
