About chess.com staff

At the moment Chess.com isn't hiring new staff or moderators.

To avoid confusion, staff are paid a salary as this is their full time employment ( just like many go to an office for their job, we work here from home)

Moderators are all vounteer members of the site who give their time freely to help out other members on the site.

While we aren't currently taking on any staff or moderators, you can still contact me direct if you'd like to be considered as a moderator or staff and we'll keep your application on file.

For employment you do need to be aged over 21 (this then shows you've had time to leave college/university and work/gain experience in the field you're applying for). You also need to have an excellent understanding of the English language.
