About new v3 problems

Timers freeze sometimes + middle of the game says that another login has been detected when its not true fix please.

If you open another Live tab computer or open the app while in Live on the website then that will happen (or if you do the reverse). I have only seen that occur in those instances.

Just trying v3. Only issue detected so far is "alignment" of things. For instance, in interactive chess diagrams (like the daily puzzle) all the pieces are flocked onto the a8 square. Works in v2 so no problem yet.

I refreshed the tab and it said another login detected. And i refreshed it becouse the clocks were not moving v2 rules only + in v3 is that you see the opening you are playing.

I have never seen that across a couple of different browsers. What browser and version are you using?

Timers can freeze during disconnects.

I'm having problems with the game showing the opponent is on his time yet apparently my time is running down. It doesn't indicate a disconnect. VERY frustrating in speed games.

Sometimes the client will disconnect but doesn't indicate the status. Refeshing will often reconnect. If you are on v2, switching to v3 might help. If you are on v3, you should report the issue.

Unfortunately I can't use the link on my iPhone to get to support to file a ticket. The iPhone app is terrible about disconnecting me and auto resigning. Totally takes the fun out of it. I have a great connection so that can't be it. I think you have some sort of bug or maybe it's a bandwidth issue with your server. Today has been especially bad. Starting to regret joining.

If it was a server issue, a lot more people would have problems.

 

That said, I have seen a number of posts with the iOS app so it may be possible the app has an issue, though it is also possible it is an issue with any of the hops the traffic takes from the client to the Live server.

 

As to opening a ticket you could always use a mobile browser.
