account banned/restricted?

I recently downloaded the android app for chess.com and was enjoying the live chess feature. In some of the games the opponent would not move, so I aborted a few games. Then I got a popup saying I shouldn't abort games, so I stopped. A while later one of my games spontaneously aborted and my account was restricted or something. I am curious why the game suddenly aborted. I thought that if I continued to abort games then my account would be suspended. How long does the restriction last, or what can I do to get rid of it? Thanks.

Ok, I read the article and it clears up some of my questions. Still perplexed about the abortion out of the blue though. I didn't even know aborting was possible halfway through the game.

Well, strictly speaking, you are correct: the abort button is no longer available after the first move.
