He will need to contact support.

Looking at the account, though, I see a bunch of very short losses in his recent game archive. That looks like sandbagging - intentionally losing games. That would be a violation of fair play rules.

He should contact support, and he should also review the rules to make sure he knows what is not permitted.

Maybe, he should use another email to contact the Support. And, should explain the issue by mentioning his closed account username and related email address.

I have been banned from chess.com and got my account closed, so I looked up how I may have broken the rules. I had absolutely no idea that making three accounts is considered cheating, but I am really into chess right now and loving the community so is there any way I can get my main account open? I will of course delete the two I made after.. Please help.

Even if you're too busy to read the Terms of Service, these rules still exist and will be applied, often by an uncaring computer. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. You need to learn your lesson and move on.

If it was closed for multiple accounts staff may reopen but if it was used for rating manipulation, they probably won't. Either way, you should contact support directly.

See also the rules for multiple accounts: https://support.chess.com/article/596-can-i-have-multiple-accounts

Note especially that you need to get approval for the second account, and that you must never make the accounts play against each other.

If you are rated 2300+ and you use a 1600 rated bot your cousin made, would that be illegal?

Yes.

See https://www.chess.com/fair-play and https://support.chess.com/article/648-what-do-i-need-to-know-about-fair-play-on-chess-com

All your moves must be your own moves.

Even if the engine you're using is weaker than you are, it is still cheating.

The "Hmn" says it all.

Just what a suspicious person would say.

I have never used an engine in any of my games, you can check.

How could I check that?

Why would I bother?

ArchEmperorSolev

By looking in my profile at all the games I have played.
