I honestly don‘t understand what I did wrong though! It showed up immediately after I resigned from a game against someone almost 3-times my level/rating. Let me clarify, at that point I didn‘t stand a chance anymore (like king and 2-3 pawns somewhere) and they would have had several chances to put me checkmate, but made me hop around instead. Because I had to get off the train, I decided to resign so that I could close the app.
Since then I get the message about being restricted because of „bad sportsmanship“.
Why would I get reported for that???

It's based on a number of aborts, abandonment, or stalling in games, over your recently played games. If you are playing and completely finishing the majority of your games, the restrictions get removed.
