Hello Chess.com community and staff,
Recently my activity status has not been updating and it is confusing to me, as well as other people. Currently as I am drafting this forum, my profile states that I was last online 22 hours ago. This is false because I am currently online and have been on and off for the past 3 hours or so.
However, in clubs, it show I am active, marking my profile with the green online status. I don't know if this is showing for other people though, but nobody has said anything about it, maybe they just assume I'm offline if it doesn't show I'm active.
This is weird because I do a lot to register myself as active. I post forums, notes, and announcements, and I move around from puzzles, to games, to clubs pretty frequently. Therefore, I don't think it's a problem with me just being idle.
I don't want to contact support just yet if this is just a minor issue that isn't a problem for other people. Please let me know if you are experiencing similar issues or you know any fixes. I'll reach out to support later this week.
Edit: My activity is no longer showing up in clubs, meaning the system is treating me as if I am completely offline. (5/19/2025, 10:22 EST)
