Advocating for a player whose account is closed

Hi there,

I am a chess coach in New England and I would like to advocate for one of my players whose account we believe was wrongfully closed. Is there any particular way to do this, and if so, what does the reinstatement process look like? Also, does chess.com reconsider the closing of accounts? If so, what factors do they consider?

Thanks,

They don't allow cheating related discussions in the main forum. The only place is in the Cheating Forum club.

If you search that forum, you will probably find other similar topics.

You can email support but don't hold your breath.  I emailed them nearly 2 weeks ago because I paid for a month of Gold Membership and they have taken my money but not changed my membership.  I've sent several emails and have gotten no reply.  The only thing I've gotten is an auto-reply saying please be patient.  They don't seem to care about their customers.

It looks like you have a diamond membership.
