After updates chess.com lags for South America

I am trying to play bullet but it is impossible. Even pre moving oponent does not lose any second while I am struggling to keep the same time (or close)

It is a terrible experience and the problem it is NOT on my side.

I have a great Internet connection. ISP works well for different game servers and it is only problematic on chess.com. In lichess is just fine as well

This WAS NOT an issue before. Definitely some buggy update.

I know these posts get ignored or dismissed. A while back I reported a bug on chess and even being a diamond player they did not even responded.

50 games and most of it I lose on time (winning in game)  and opponent 10-20 seconds lead. So frustrating and infuriating...

Cheaters are a difficult problem and I get it.

But lag too?

The majority of games are being played on the site's distributed server network, so it's possible the connection between you and the servers you're connecting to for games may have issues. That said, the majority of games have been played that way for a while.

There are some things you can do in your end to minimize connection issues but if the problem is between you and the site servers then they may not help

To be fair they should implement a round robin approach to the distributed servers. So I ended up playing on nearest server 50% of the time.

Any load balancer that is different than that will favour locations which will be unfair to players not located in server proximity.

And it appears that this is happening now and was not before. I wonder what changed.
