analysis playing against the computer

Since I down loaded the up grade for playing the computer ( I hope this is a good way to learn to play better ) and having my game analysed, by a one minute, three minutes and or ten minutes analysis. This no longer happens with the up grade, all I get after the game, is just a read out of every move I played. This does not tell me any thing at all.
Please fix this problem. If I had known this would have happen I do not think I would have down loaded the up grade.

I have the same issue. I don’t think I changed any of my settings.

It’s nice to know someone else is having the same problem ( and it’s not that I’m a Luddite). I believe they are up grading the site. There will be lots of new options to get use to. Not good I can barely understand old stuff. Bloody chances!

I’m having the same issue. I posted something a few days ago. No response. I’m not sure if it was an intentional change or a glitch. It was helping me to improve my game. I would review the analysis and then start from a move where there was a recommended better move to see how that would open up different options. It definitely helped me to see and understand more.

I’m in the same boat. I upgraded something. That’s same day the analysis was dropped to only self-analysis. I hope someone can figure out a workaround or fix.

I hope everyone knows notation. If you don't, well, I cannot help you here, you're just gonna have to learn off Google. But the analysis has changed. If it says "Brilliant", this is the most advanced move possible, like and end-the-game queen sacrifice or something like that. If it says "Best Move" it is basically the chess.com engine's best move. If it says Excellent, it is not the best, but basically excellent. If it says good move, that's what it is. If it says book move, it is a good opening move. If it says inaccuracy, the move that you played wasn't very good. If it says mistake, the move worsens your position immediately.(quite bad move) If it says blunder, it is a total mistake. I have seen your questions and all of you are premium members so you should press the button "RUN REPORT". This is where you get an analysis. All of you were probably using "SELF ANALYSIS", which is why you didn't see anything. i hope this answers your questions and problems. If not, post another comment to say why and I'll try answer it if I'm online.

Does this answer your questions? Press RUN REPORT or UNTICK (it is probably a box with a tick so you have to press to untick) the SELF ANALYSIS.

Thanks, but on my iPhone app, the previous options don't appear. I push the "Analysis" button at the end of the game. The only thing that happens is that it goes straight to self-analysis. There is no option to "run report." That has disappeared.

Also, the computer play on my app has lost its mind. Supposedly playing at Level 6, it throws away pieces for no reason. Something seems to have changed for the worse.

Err... not sure what to do. I have made two reports to chess.com explaining the situation. I hope they do try and fix it. For me it still seems all ok. but i am using a lenovo laptop and not a iPhone.

P.S maybe an iPhone is different?

idklol

I'm using the iPad iOS app (not the website) and it has none of the options mentioned by Rearcoplays.  I'll give the website a try.  Also, has someone else here mentioned, the level of play suddenly seems off too.  I am easily winning at levels two or three higher than I was playing and not always winning, and the computer makes terrible blunders.

Rearcoplays

I'm using the website. In the website, playing the computer at level 10 is literally impossible to even draw, so I'm not entirely sure what everyone is saying. Using the app, there is supposed to be 20 levels and the 20th level is rating of 3000+, so if you could please say what level you are playing and be a bit more specific so I could try and help you. @EricLOTE what type of blunders? I've never seen the level 6 computer make a blunder before, maybe a mistake or two but not a blunder. You should try the website though. If the chess.com computer is to easy (even on it's hardest level) then you should try playing one of the other bots (for example Komodo or Stockfish). You can play them by going on the website, press play, select 5 minute match (or whatever other timer you want) and then press computer. This will take you to another section where about 50 computers are displayed for you to play them, from super easy (blunder on every move) to extremely difficult. Please post a comment if you want more info.
