Android app keeps crashing for live play

I have a Samsung s3 and have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest chess.com app however it has crashed several times today. The result is that the server thinks that I am aborting games when I am not. I don't care so much about the points lost (although it is annoying) I now have a fair play message popping up presumably because of so many aborted games. Is there a fix for this? I would really like to keep playing on my mobile apps.
