android app keeps telling me to login again

I had this problem yesterday. I had to update the c.c ap, and then it worked.

Hi again guys. It was just that your login session had expired after we did the update to the site a couple of days ago.  Logging out of the app (by going to the settings menu) or clearing your app data (also logs you out) fixes the issue :)

Well it's Sunday morning, day 5 of this dilemma and I still have the problem! I have uninstalled chess.com (the app), reinstalled etc. and to no avail. When you say "logout", is this "logout" button in the settings of chess.com or your app manage page of the phone?

Hi I just started having this problem today.I've cleared the data logged out even uninstalled! To no avail.note that it only happens to me in live chess.chess. Can someone please help me with this?

@YMG- What type of connection are you on when you see the message to login again?

Mainly 3g, but I've gotten it on home wifi as well. It's only sometimes as last night it did work.)

I also have this problem when trying to get into Live chess. I tried clearing data to no avail. I've only had the app since the redesign update, and Live chess has never worked.

@waterski24- please make sure you're on the latest version of the Chess.com app.  We did have an update that fixed a similar problem.

Still refuses to let me access live chess even after uninstalling and downloading the latest version...

And I did go and clear data on the new install too

@errymoose- are you getting another login detected or error: please login again?

Also- Have you checked to make sure that you're not logged in on your mobile browser? Or on your computer?

the second one, "error: please login again"  and i definitely made sure to log out of my computer before using the app.

 

EDIT: I tested this last night, explicitly logged out of the account on my PC then logged in on my phone and could get to the live games section.  Never logged back in on my PC but I have once again been getting constant "Error: Please log in again" messages.  Even after clearing data again. Cry

Yeah I'm still having the problem and I logged out of my iPod touch and reinstalled the android version and am still getting the same problem. The Google play store says I'm on version 2.0.29. I have a galaxy s3

I also still get please login again message but when i click on it it just reloads and works (generally). So its more a nuisance than an impediment.

For anyone having 'another login is detected' issue and are 100% NOT logged in on a pc and droid and the same time, can you please email me

and give me a valid email address I can forward a test app too?

The test app will monitor the issues for your logins then send the log directly to the app developer so he can see whats going on and why people are experiencing this issue.
