Android App Not Showing Move even though it can be seen on Chess.com

the last 6 or 7 games i have played this caption comes up saying login detected and it freezes me from making a move or anything, and i still lose the game, would really apreciate

any help

Solution # 1

Delete the app. It is useless. Not had a significant uprade since it was developed. Laggy, buggy, always redirecting to advertising.

Log in using your browser. A smidgen better but still very laggy buggy with all the v3 worthless bells and whistles.

There are just so many new devices out there. The developers of the Android app for chess.com  evidently cant keep up. The've thrown in the towel it seems. 

Maybe I need a new tablet to run V3 chess.com but the app 

• is fast and slick compared to the brouser version. On my workstation the browser​ version is good of course.
• Allows for larger board than www version
• Gives droid notifications
• Does not have adds unless you are playing for free

But is deficient in some basic features e.g. conditional moves. 

Open challenges could be better.

Anyway non of this is the point. It should update the board if you move.

@deanforster I now have a device which has this problem sometimes which should help in figuring out the problem. 

Does anyone here have any problems with notifications in other apps? (My device which has this problem, has a similar problem with the Slack app.)

No, seems to be specific to the Chess.com app. I don't see that behavior anywhere else.

Probably provides no more insight but just powered up after tablet powered down by itself, no charge.

So I had 4 games to move. Moved in all 4, but it still said 4 games and on summary screen each game was still bright and did not show move.

After making each move you see the move reversed on screen before it moves to next game.

Killed app. Reloaded. Summary screen games now dull with all moves made.

This problem still exists on the lenevo 10, with latest OS update and latest Chess.com app update. Daily games do not refresh. Most annoying as I also prefer the app to the browser on portable devices. I have done delete cache, delete data, uninstall, reinstall, power cycles. Nothing works.

I have the same problem on Android 8.0.0, i need to kill  the app and restart to display best moves assistance.
