Android App stopped working

Just recently I have not been able to run the app on my Samsung Android.  When I open it, I get the message "Unfortunately, chess has stopped."

I cleared the cache, cleared the data, uninstalled it and reinstalled it and none of these things have fixed it.  

Anyone else having this problem?

Try out common solutions one by one to solve Android App stopped working: reload app, erase cache partition, clear cache or data.
Clear cache: Settings > apps > Clear cache.
Clear data: Settings > apps > Storage.
