Hi Matt, it sounds like you have the LOLspeak language showing up in the app. It's one of the options in your Languages. If changing the language back to your preferred language doesn't help, try reinstalling the app.

Sorry that I missed your reply earlier, Blackenne. I checked the language setting and it was set to English. I tried switching to LOLspeak and back with no change. Am trying to uninstall and reinstall now.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled and, after logging in with my FAcebook account, it's still using the strange menu names. Here's my environment if it helps:
Chess v. 3.1.21
Android 2.3.4 on an LG LGL55C
kernel version 2.6.35.7
Build num: GRJ22

Also, there are those artifacts in both the full and basic Live chess interfaces for me in Chrome. I'm now running Chrome 39.0.2171.65 (64-bit) on OS 10.10.

It looks like you have some browser extensions... is that Skype?
Disable all of them and try to view the page again. If that helps, bring back one at a time; when it fails again, you'll know which extension is causing the problem :)

Ok, I feel dumb. lol Disabled the Chess.com extension I had downloaded and a couple others and it seems fine now.

hello, Im running 3.1.21 on my LG StraightTalk phone, and it recently started using different names for the main menu items. e.g. Play is now PULAY, Friends is FRENZ, m Messages is MESAGEZ, etc. Has anyone else experienced this? I was a little concerned. Thanks for the great app in general.
