Animation Speed

Is there a way to change the speed at which the moves are animated while playing?  When I play in Internet Explorer 10, the moves seem to happen instantaneously, but when I use Chrome they take a good quarter of a second to move across the screen, which is extremely annoying.  Is there a setting somewhere in Chrome or on chess.com that can fix this?

ps.  Sometimes, chrome's internal flash will conflict with adobe flash making moves very laggy (disabling chrome's internal flash might overcome this).

I use Chrome rather than IE here on the advice of administration. The animation speed seems slower on some days than others. Do you have the "move highlight" option turned off?

I have highlight moves turned off, yes.
