Glad to see you're back Jamie.
Think there is any chance RJC will be back?
Just realized JamieDelarosa is gone from the site. I'm having trouble figuring out if it was voluntary or not.
So, that is 2 great users gone inside of 1 week. What's happening around here?
I'll blog about the experience one of these days.
We're waiting anxiously.
You'll be able to read it. You just won't be able to comment.
I've never had a problem sending in a ticket and getting a response.
Nor I.
Perhaps your concerns expressed in the support ticket were blown off.
Every support ticket I've ever submitted, which amounts to more than a few, had been answered in a timely manner and each concern had been either dealt with or explained in reasonable fashion why it couldn't be immediately addressed or fully addressed.
No one has ever 'blown me off.'
I'm pretty sure that the only people who they have blown off are the members who flood the ticket queue. Like wasn't the precedent Windows-7_ who was restricted to 3 support tickets since he complained too much?
Funnily enough, he also was the one who discovered the block limit on here too lol.
And for the record, I have sent in two tickets and they were resolved within a few hours over the 5 1/2 years I have been on here.
I am a member on this site since more than 10 years, but also only since few days.
Wow. A member here since 3 years before it opened. Is that like doing your Christmas shopping in the summer?
So that Halloween candy that I bought back in November 11 months early is still good right?
And for the record, I have sent in two tickets and they were resolved within a few hours over the 5 1/2 years I have been on here.
I think you forgot to mention the 1/2 finished bottle of gin one needs to include to 'grease the wheels'.
You're lucky they took your issues seriously.
When something is consistent, how does luck enter into it?
And salve Batgirl. Cool blogs. Pretty informative usually.
Ave atque vale... in linguam Romanorum.
You're lucky they took your issues seriously.

because its consistent for you not everyone else. its a known fact that the staff is aware of.

That doesn't seem to be the case at all. Most people posting here have similar experience.

Don't worry, the staff takes most issues and members seriously. Just not the petty ones.

i know that. It is why jamies back. He has taken these issues seriously because he knows they exist. Whether bat girl realizes it or not is unimportant. There is millions of accounts here and 10's of thousands on at any given time and although most get timely responses there are many that go ignored.
I'll chime in. I have always gotten reasonably prompt responses to my support tickets. Both before and after I was a paying member.
Maybe I didn't send in support tickets for nonsense. Maybe, having done support elsewhere, I made them nice and clear and gave all relevant information. Tickets for nonsense usually go to the bottom of the list (not to imply those complaining were sending in tickets for nonsense).
..and the 1/2 emptied bottle of gin.
