Anroid chess.com app issue..??

Hey team....previously before updating my app I used talk with my opponent in online chess format but now app is cool but I m unable 2 talk with my friends if I type anything n press send button it doesn't get posted on chat window.....similar is d case with all d game's. ...

Kindly advise ASAP. ...

Are you only having this issue in online chess? Have you tried live chess as well? Any other issues anywhere with the app?

No I haven't checked live chess....but yes d issue I m currently facing in online chess all games...

Hey...I have checked using chat option under live chess format n its working fine could you please fix it 4 online chess....??

Hey team.....another issue with app is how 2 save specific theme once is activated?? Since last night I selected Ocean theme n when I login dis morning my theme automatically changed to default one...?? How 2 save my preference??

In addition move doesn't get updated on app on real time basis previously we had refresh button now it's like I have wait for long time 2 see my opponent moved...

'Day Chess' Chat doesn't work properly in the App. I can't make comments in the App itself. I CAN go into the web version and reply to what my opponent has said (I think he typed them in the older version), but then the App shows ALL the comments as if made by my opponent!

I aslo find the 'New Game' icon sitting alongside the list of real games I am actually playing distracting. Rather too easy to accidentally click on it and then suddenly you have started a Live Chess game you didn't actualy want to. I am a 'Day Chess' player. If I want to play 'Live Chess' I'll click on that option - Please don't mix the two up!

Yeah. ...actually there are so many issues to be fixed if chess.com would've delayed d lunch of app 4 at least 1 month that wouldn't been an issue. ...but threre has 2 b system check in place b4 making app available 2 public. It seems chess.çom spent lot of time n enery on appearance but basic features as I we said earlier has 2 b there.

If you want to join a tournament; how do you get to tournaments from new app?

Well....most of times I login into chess.com website 4 that because I need 2 check massages....reply 2 my tracked activities. ....so yeah I usually does all such things via website. ...well and I haven't explore d entire app....I mean there are so many good option.

Me too! It's really in the way. On a mobile phone I would also prefer the list of ongoing games to have the same format as the list of completed games. I prefer the tabular/list format to the board/icon format, if you know what I mean?

I'm not a fan of the new application either but I created a custem theme in the theme tab under settings where I was able to choose something a little less garish e.g., dark background, classic pieces and wood or blue board.

I uninstalled the Android app from my phone.  The new update is terrible and live chess was running all the time and could not be stopped.  There is just no way to sugar coat it... you have done serious damage to your brand with this update.  Get rid of the Start Game buttons that are just in the way, get rid of the stupid fly out bars that pop out from the side.  Also work out bugs.  I made several moves that did not register.  I will not reinstall until you fix this garbage or just reinstate the old app.

Guy's surprising thing is chess.com tech support is not commenting on any of d issues raised??

I agree the new app is too much!  I want to be able to turn live chess on and off.  It should NOT turn on automatically.  I have to go through an app killer to turn it off too.  And, when the app opens I don't want to be prompted to start a game!!  The new version is not fun to use...yet.  please fix!
