anticipation moves.

I have finally realized that some opponents are guessing my next move & so automate their own response to my next move.  How does one do it??

ElKitch

they check the threats that your latest moves create :)

If you move your knight, I look for places that it can go to. And for each place I check what it can do there. If it is something that I must prevent then Ill move something to stop your knight from going there.

No.  not what I meant.  When i move sometimes there is a bright flash & KaZaM - their piece has moved.  It feels like  'live blitz opening moves'.  Are these moves automated in anticipation??

How?  What button do you push to preset the server to make future moves?

In Live chess, these are called premoves (will be played no matter what the opponent replies).

In Online chess, these are called conditional moves (will be played only if the opponent plays the expected move).

Yes.  That's it - "conditional moves".   How??  Can't find user guide.

If you look at the game while it is *not* your move, then there is a link below the move list that says "Conditional Moves."  Click that and it will open up a new window.  But be careful!  If you start putting in conditional moves, it immediately activates them.  So, if your opponent is online and starts making moves, your conditionals will trigger even if you're still making them.  Make sure of what you want your conditional moves to be first using the Analysis board before making them on the conditional moves link.

Thanks.  :)
