App Closes Within 5 Seconds

Have not seen a single post or mention of this.
Since the most recent update a few days ago, two people I know on IOS can not play the game at all. They can launch the game and log in, but within literally 5 seconds, the app will close itself with no indication as to why.
Already reached out to support, but no resolve yet. Is anyone else on iPhone dealing with this issue?
Possible fixes that have been tried:
Uninstall and reinstall
Log out and back in
Update IOS
(Unable to clear App Cache on IOS)
Is there any solution or possible solution we may have missed?
