Are we allowed to trigger game review through a script?

...and maybe have that hooked up to a discord server?

I saw a guy offering free game reviews on the official chess.com discord server. Up to what point can we do that? And are we allowed to programmatically interact with the website? It would be insanely cool on Chess.com's part if we are but I doubt we can do any of that. I must ask though.

You should write to support@chess.com to find out.

Will do, thanks!

Pretty sure that's not something that would be allowed. Use of the Public API is but game reviews are not part of that. Also, bypassing feature limits would be against the site TOS, which that could be doing.

To be fair, some people are probably doing it.

There's no way to really detect someone programmatically interacting with the website, unless Chess.com is putting captchas somewhere, but I have never gotten one.
It seems a bit unfair, or a missed opportunity, or even something to fix depending on the perspective. I now wonder how many game reviews triggered per day by one user would raise suspicion. Someone must have figured that out already. Something just isn't right

The site puts in a lot of effort with game review, both in staff resources and server hardware. That's a reason it's unlimited benefit of Platinum and Diamond only.

Not only do I appreciate it, I understand that's much of what pays the bills. But the way it's currently set up, it is easily exploitable. Someone is surely doing it. Measures should be taken to mitigate this, not only to maintain membership profits, but because it's unfair to the people who could exploit it and do not just out of respect for the entire Chess.com community. Does that make sense?
