Atomic Chess Glitch

I'm playing atomic chess a lot recently, and this bug/glitch/whatever you wanna call it keeps popping up. Whenever I go to make a move and pick up a piece, sometimes it doesn't pick up the piece, and then leaves a permanent circle on the square the piece was on for the rest of the game, even after i move the piece that the circle spawned on. As far as I know, there's no way to get rid of the circle unless you refresh or close tab and reopen chess.com, but that's not ideal when in a timed match. is anyone else experiencing anything simillar? and is there any way to fix it, or does it just need to get patched?
