Average Ratings for Groups

I was wondering, how is the average rating for a group calcuated? Is it by the players highest chess score whether it be Chess960, blitz, or bulllet etc.? Is only by online chess score?

Only by online chess score.

It would be handy to be able to sort groups by Average Rating (currently only # of Members, Date Formed and Alphabetical available). Ideally in both increasing and decreasing sequence (to overcome the hundred-page-limitation.

any doubt about it

There is an issue that has me wondering…

Have you noticed that in those 100/top listing there is quite a large number of player that HAVE NOT logged in since one year o more ago?

Are they taken into account in finding averages? I think they should be banned

And that there are countries (Asia and Africa) whose players all have high ratings?

I found that looking for "foreing" players to invite for a game. . . by the way. . . out of 15, only two answered. . . disappointing. . .
