Bad words

This is really stupid.   I get this opponent who statrs offering draws in a dead lost position and starts calling me names after the game.  

I tell him to go f himself and now I'm kicked from live chess. 

This is just so unimagibaly stupid. Using the f-word does not automatically mean you are being disrespectful towards someone. 

Just let me humiliate the abusers, it will be better for everyone.

I think its good to say something back, in real life you will say that also.

I agree with the OP too. Offense is relative and depends on context, certain words shouldn't be banned parents are far more offended over those words than kids who probably think they're cool anyway. 

Well... at least he didn't name and shame his opponent, like a lot of people tend to do on the forums for some reason.

you should have reported him for his poor behavior, especially if he cursed. the point is to not condone obscene language. not all of us are the liberal minded americans or canadians that revel in obscenity and think it is fine to use coarse language. i want to be spared other peoples foul words and descriptions so do not make exceptions for the bad words.

Oh no, not obscene language! This kind of inhumanity cannot be allowed to stand. Preventing people from stringing together certain chains of letters must be our foremost priority. The consequences we face if we let people write terrible and despicable words are too horrible to imagine.

Haven't a clue what my comment was but know for definite it wasn't a "bad" word so shouldn't have been deleted.

Think I do remember. They have mostly deleted "visual-content". Even though that added to this topic making it quite funny and defusing OP's anger.

Thing is that "content" had been here for weeks so why delete now?

Was not a single thing wrong with this topic. Was friendly, sociable and beneficial.

OP even comes in at end apologising for his anger so way out of line for chess.com to censor it.

They are and will not be renewing my subscription next month because of that.
