Basic Help for the android app? What is the "fist" icon?

I may be missing something obvious, but I can't find help for the android app anywhere. 

Main reason I'm asking is because during a recent game an icon popped up that I did not understand. It looked like a fist(?) with an X on the left side, and a checkmark on the right.

I could not make a move until I clicked something so I clicked the X. What did that mean? 

I was only one move away from giving checkmate, so I thought maybe that meant the opponent was resigning. But it could also have meant he was asking for a draw and I definitely did not want a draw!

Can someone tell me?

That's the draw symbol. It's actually supposed to look like shaking hands.  X to decline. Check mark to accept.

Thanks! So it turns out my opponent was offering a draw hoping I wouldn't see the mate in one. Glad I clicked the X. lol
