Blackberry 8120 mobile chess

Using Wi-Fi connection with Blackberry 8120. Downloaded mobile chess version 2.3 via Internet Browser. It has installed properly but when I start it, can not get past Login screen.

I am registered user. Does not matter if I try to enter valid username or not. Application seems to hang after pressing Login button in all cases.

I enabled all permissions for the application but it still can not login.

Thank you. I have entered APN for T-mobile. Now application tries to connect but fails. So there is some progress. But it still does not work.

I think problem is that I do not use WAP. I have simple Wi-Fi connection. So my Blackberry is used as notebook computer that connects via regular Internet router not as mobile phone connecting via WAP.

I am not sure why it would make a difference... TCP/IP is available in both cases. Unless Chess.com Mobile client requests WAP connection explicitly.

Any comments or help welcome.

We released a new version last night, try deleting what you have, and then re-installing the app (leave the APN for T-Moblie), and see if that works.

No new version 2.4 gives same results. Tried with and without APN set.

The mobile app uses http over tcp/ip, and dont rely on WAP.
