blocked account and how to resolve?

I have a friend who had her chess.com account banned recently. She can't log into her account and when she tries to she is told that her account has been blocked.
I was wondering why this might be and whether any communication is entered into telling the person who has been blocked the reason?
There appears to be no reason for this blockage.
